CONSTITUTION:On the internal surface of the rear upper wall of telephone set housing 7, plate-shaped acoustic partitioning body 11 is formed in the same body with the housing 7. This partitioning body 11 is arranged nearly perpendicularly between both side walls of the housing 7 and the distance L between the sounding source P of a bell 2 and the partitioning body 11 is set about a half the wavelength of an acoustic wave with a higher frequency. Consequently, providing the partitioning body 11 to the housing 7 increases acoustic effect remarkably.
