Abstract
PURPOSE:To realize a small-size and highly efficient speaker system, by reducing the load of the main cabinet by the acoustic mass of the sound absorbing cabinet, the sound absorbing diaphragm, and others that are provided within the main cabinet. CONSTITUTION:The radiation surface side of the speaker 2 attached to the main cabinet 1 is covered with the subcabinet 3, and the acoustic mass of a diaphragm 4 or the like is provided to the cabinet 3. In addition, the sound absorbing cabinet 6 is provided inside the cabinet 1. At the same time, an acoustic mass of the diaphragm 7 or the like is provided to the cabinet 6. In such constitution, the compliance C2 of the cabinet 1 can be ignored at the serial resonance point formed by the mass MA of the diaphragm 7 and the compliance CA of the cabinet 8 and the edge 8. Accordingly the resonance point of MA and CA is set at the value near the central frequency of the using band to increase enough the reproduced sound pressure level near the central frequency and regardless of C2 of the cabinet 1. Thus the capacity of the cabinet 1 can be reduced.
