Or, an ink jet nozzle 15 is situated facing and opposite to an elastic member 12 of the cap device 5, an electromagnet 8 is energized, and an armature 9 is turned through the force of a spring 11 to press the elastic member 12 against a forward end of a projection 17. Then, a support frame, installed to the armature 9, mates the projection 17 on a holder 14 to hold a holder 14.
