PURPOSE:To recover the floating microorganism without damaging by collecting the floating microorganism, condensing it by floating separation, thereafter treating it under said state or by acid or alkali, and recovering the microorganism by an ultrafilter. CONSTITUTION:The microorganism 1 is recovered by vacuum sucking or a pump sucking process 2 and condensed in a pressurized floating procees 3. Then the microorganism is further condensed in first ultrafiltering process 17, and transferred out as the recovered microorganism 21. Meanwhile, pH of filtered water 23 is adjusted in a first pH adjusting process 18 in order to remove protein by acid or alkali agent 30. The water is flowed to a second ultrafiltering process 19 through a flow line of seperated water 24. Eluted protein is recovered in the this process, and transferred through the flow line of filtered mud 25 as the recovered microorganism together with the condensed microogranism. The pH of the filtered water 26 is adjusted in a second pH adjusting process 20 by acid or alkali agent 31 and flowed out together with the water which is separated in the pressurizing and floating process 3.
