Abstract
PURPOSE:To utilize thermal energy effectively and heat-set a resin at a plunger part completely, by a method wherein the air heated by utilizing the heat used for heating a mold is blasted to a plunger to heat the latter. CONSTITUTION:Air introduced from a supply source 56 is sufficiently heated by a heating plate 48, then the thus heated air is blasted toward the plunger 30 through an air blasting port 62 fitted to the tip of an annular air blasting member 60, to heat the plunger 30 at a top dead center. The air introduced from the supply source 56 is sufficiently heated while flowing through the heating plate 48 in contact with a spacer block 720, by the heat which is transmitted from a heater 16 for a mold to the spacer block 20 through a mold plate 18. Accordingly, the plunger can be heated without using a separate energy source, and a thermosetting resin contacted to the plunger part can be completely hardened.
