PURPOSE:To remove restrictions due to the change of the resonance frequency of ultrasonic waves on materials of an oscillator, by switching the value of the coil in an ultrasonic wave transmitting and receiving circuit by a switch. CONSTITUTION:Two coils L1 and L2 are provided, and the coil L1 has the frequency coincident with a minimum one of used frequencies of an ultrasonic diagnostic device, and the coil L2 is connected in series to a switch SW for the purpose of making the frequency of the coil L1 coincident with another frequency, and parallel values of coils L1 and L2 coincide with another frequency. That is, the number of coils and switches is increased to correspond to many kinds of ultrasonic frequencies. Thus, in case the used frequency of the ultrasonic probe are different in diagnostic positions of a living body, the ultrasonic probe is prevented from having a large form and a complicated structure.
