Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain the quick response of a needle to an electric signal and improve accuracy of the injection quantity of gasoline, by providing the single column-shaped needle slidably through bearings, axially having flow grooves in their periphery, in the nozzle part of an injector. CONSTITUTION:A nozzle end part 10 is provided in the inside of a nozzle 9, further upper and lower washers 12 are provided by interposing a central spring 13, and bearings 11, having grooves 17 in their peripheral part, are held by pressing force of the spring 13 in upper and lower parts of said upper and lower washers 12. A column-shaped needle 15 is inserted into a hole 16 of said upper and lower bearings 11 and can be moved sliding through the bearing 11. Gasoline flows in a route to the direction of an arrow head A, then resisting force is not caused at all for vertical motion of the needle 15, further the needle 15 less weighing than a conventional one can be moved in a better response to an electric signal, then quantity of injected gasoline can be controlled in high accuracy. While the needle 15, being separated from the bearing 11, can be prepared by easier machining method in better machining accuracy.
