Abstract

PURPOSE: To compensate response delay in the brake system in such a way that during decompression of brake oil pressure, when acceleration in the wheels overpasses the determined value, it is held, and after the holding, when another determined value is overpassed once, and further it becomes lower than tnat, the pressure is intensified.
CONSTITUTION: Wheel speed signals are made intl acceleration signals by an acceleration detecting circuit 4, whose input is given to comparators 8, 9 in a control circuit 6. Output from the comparators 8, 9 which have respectively the first and second determined values α1, α2 are given as input through a differentiator composed of RC to RS-FF10. The output from RS-FF10 is given as input together with signals V1, V2 from the usual antiskid controller 5 to an OR gate 11 and an AND gate 12. Signals from the AND gate 12 to skid controller 5 are inhibited until the acdeleration in wheels overpasses the determined value α1, and RS-FF is set. Even if there is any response delay in the brake system, timing for increasing brake pressure can be reliably.
