Abstract
PURPOSE: The high-temperature, high-pressure liquefaction product is branched by an amount equal to the amount of the coal slurry transferred and forced into the high-pressure side of the hydrohoist to feed the coal slurry in the low-pressure side to the liquefaction reactor, thus increasing the energy efficiency and making the maintenance unnecessary.
CONSTITUTION: The low-pressure side of the hydrohoist 23 is connected to the coal slurry line 30 from the coal slurry maker 1 to the heater 11 in the liquefaction reactor 10. The low-pressure pump 26 is provided at the fore stage of the line 30 and the booster 33 is put in the latter stage to adjust the pressure loss. The line for feeding the liquefaction product from the reactor 10 to the separator 4 is branched and the branch is connected to the high-pressure separator 31. The liquefaction product from the high-pressure separator 31 is sent through valve C to the high-pressure side of the hydrhoist 23 by an amount equal to that of the coal slurry transferred. A high- pressure pump 9 is put in the line for feeding the solvent 6.
