PURPOSE:To avoid the distortion in FM demodulation signal, by selecting the frequency of the 1st and the 2nd local oscillator fed to the 1st and 2nd mixer circuits so that the 1st and 2nd intermediate frequencies are equal, picking up FM demodulation signal from the output of the subtracting circuit and removing the AM component. CONSTITUTION:The FM signal from a demodulation circuit 3 between stages is fed to the 1st mixer circuit 4A and the 2nd mixer circuit 4B, the 1st IF signal by upper heterodyne is output to the output of the circuit 4A, and the 2nd IF signal by lower heterodyne is output to the output of the circuit 4B. After demodulating the 1st and 2nd IF signals at FM demodulation circuits 8A, 8B, the respective demodula tion signal is fed to a subtraction circuit 10. By selecting the frequency from the 1st and 2nd local oscillation circuits 5A, 5B fed to the circuits 4A, 4B, so that the frequency of the 1st and 2nd IF signals is mutually equal, the output of the circuit 10 is fed to a stereo demodulation circuit 11, allowing to output the FM demodulation signal removing the AM component from the circuit 11.
