Abstract

PURPOSE: To enable to measure the insulating resistance at both the nongrounded lines with one set of insulating resistance measurement circuit in time sharing separately, by alternately applying a voltage to a pair of nongrounded electric line in different frequencies from the commerical frequency.
CONSTITUTION: When a switch circuit SW is turned on to the position (a), a leakage current ig1 at angular frequency ω1 is detected at a zero phase current transformer ZCT, the output is fed to the bandpass filter FIL in the center angular frequency ω1 and the leakage current in the angular frequency ω1 is obtained. The output of the bandpass filter FIL is fed to one input terminal of a multiplier MULT. The output of an oscillator OSC is fed to another input terminal of the multiplier MULT and the amount inversely proportional to the insulation resistor R1 is obtained at the DC component of the output OUT of multiplication. When the switch circuit SW is selected to the position (b), a voltage inversely proportional to the insulation resistor R2 is obtained at the output OUT of the multiplier MULT.
