Abstract

PURPOSE: To effectively utilize the evaporation latent heat of water, miniaturize the condenser and reduce the power consumed by supplying an atomizied flow formed by spraying and pulverizing supplied water by means of a rotary disc, to a condenser in an air conditioner.
CONSTITUTION: In an air conditioner unitarily incorporating a freezing cycle composed of a compresser 1, a condenser 2A, a capillary tube 3 and an evaporator 4, the condenser 2A is formed in a circular shape and in a horizontal state. A rotary disc 10A is arranged in the vicinity of the left end of the condenser 2A, and the rotary disc 10A can be rotated unitarily with an exhaust fan 15A by a motor 11A. A water tank 9A is arranged at the upper part of the condenser 2A, and the water is led to a water leveller 12 containing therein a valve with a float together with condensed water in the evaporator 4, and further led therefrom to the rotary disc 10A through a supply pipe 16. Water is rendered into an atomized flow by the disc 10A, and supplied to the condenser 2A. After effectively cooling the water, water is exhausted through a duct 13A.
