Abstract

PURPOSE:To move clampers in the vertical and lateral directions to clamp subholders and reduce die exchanging time by providing cylinders to the upper part and rear part of die holders. CONSTITUTION:The subholders 3, 20 having been set with dies 2, 19 are inserted to die holders 1, 18 and are thereby positioned. Next, clampers 4, 5 are laterally moved to the clamping position of the subholder 3 by means of a lever 15 and a cylinder 16. Thence, the pressure oil of a cylinder 8 is extracted and a crank piston 8 is moved upward by a spring 7 to clamp the subholder 3 to the die holder 1.
