PURPOSE:To prepare a chlorella-containing health food having physical characteristics suitable for chewing, and excellent taste, flavor, color, etc., by mixing chlorella, pickled ''ume'', and other nutrious food each having granular form. CONSTITUTION:The objective chlorella-containing food is prepared mixing (A) 40-70wt% of chlorella formed to granules, (B) 5-15wt% of pickled ''ume'' formed to granules, and (C) 55-15wt% of granulated nutrious foods formed from powdery foods other than chlorella and pickled ''ume'', e.g. ginseng, shiitake mushroom, tangle, royal jelly, garlic, etc. Preferably, the mixture is formed to a chlorella- containing solid food having heterogeneous structure. The food thus obtained has not only high nutritive value and excellent taste and flavor, but also vivid color contrast of green chlorella, red ''ume'', and brown nutrious foods.
