Abstract
PURPOSE:To prevent a disturbance of a step motor at the time of starting the motor or a step-out of the motor due to hunting by controlling the step motor in an open loop at the time of starting and thereafter controling the step motor by feedback with a pulse from an encoder. CONSTITUTION:A pulse motor 1 is feedback controlled upon reception of a signal from an encoder 2 to a ring counter 10. When starting the step motor the signal is fed through an inverter 21 and an NOR gate 19 to thereby switch the exciting phase and to start the motor, second and third drive pulses are generated through an OR gate 17 and the NOR gate 19 by the signal applied to a monostable multivibrator 12, thereby switch the exciting phase. Thereafter a feedback pulse is applied by an inhibit signal 23 through the NOR gate 19 to become a driver pulse. Accordingly, when starting the motor, two steps of the motor are applied to the motor and the motor is controlled thereby in open loop, and can be accelerated without step-out.
