Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a signal to effectively accelerate an induction motor by passing a signal with a fixed acceleration factor through a function generator which corresponds to necessary acceleration wherein the signal is obtained from the deviation signal of a speed command and a frequency command feed back signal passed through a comparator and an integrator. CONSTITUTION:A speed command signal 1 is compared with the feed back signal of a frequency signal and the magnitude is judged by a comparator 2. As a result, if the frequency signal does not meet the speed command, the frequency is tried to raise with a fixed time constant by an integrator 3. However, the frequency is converted into predetermined acceleration characteristics by a function generator 4. This signal becomes a frequency command signal and is converted into the gate pulse trains of a corresponding frequency through a voltage control frequency oscillator 5 and a ring counter 6. The gate pulse trains are applied to the gate of an inverter 7 to raise the frequency applied to an induction motor 8. Meanwhile, the signal is also fed back to the speed command through a feed back gain 9 to judge whether the signal has been accelerated up to a predetermined frequency.
