Abstract
PURPOSE:To improve heat conduction and to save resources and energy, by arranging spiral pieces capable of turning a flow of fluid by 90 deg. into a heat conduction pipe used for a heat exchanger and others so that thermal boundary layers may be agitated. CONSTITUTION:In the heat conduction pipe are arranged spiral pieces 4 that are formed by twisting by 90 deg. metal plates having a width generally corresponding to an inner diameter D of the heat conduction pipe, the length of the spiral pieces 4 being such that 1<L/D<5. Therefore the forward end 4a and the reaward end 4b make a right angle. Accordingly the heat conduction is improved without substantially increasing the flow resistance and loss due to pressure.
