Abstract
PURPOSE: To carry out the uniform painting in low energy by a method wherein, in vertically hanging an extruded and molded aluminum material to a longitudinal direction and carrying out a cathodic oxidation and painting, said aluminum material is connected to an anode after immersed in a paint and a lower end of the cathode is positioned to an upper part of a lower end of said extruded and molded material to carry out the painting at low voltage.
CONSTITUTION: As a paint, a water soluble or a water dispersible paint such as of an acrylic resin or an alkyd resin is used and used by regulating a solid resin content to 10W30wt% (especially, 15W25%). An extruded and molded aluminum material is immersed in this paint and connected to an anode. The cathode may take any shape, but a lower end of the cathode is positioned at least 50cm above a lower end of the extruded and molded material in a painting bath. The voltage when DC is passed is low voltage of 10W45V (especially, 15W35V) and current passing time is appropriately 1W80min (especially, 3W15min). After painting, said painted material is drained for 8W15min and dried by heating.
