Abstract

PURPOSE:To manufacture noncarbon transfer paper provided with a high effect to prevent yellowing due to daylight and NOX, by using cation starch as an adhesive when a phenol resin is used as a developer. CONSTITUTION:A developer made of a phenol resin such as p-phenylphenol resin or p-octylphenol resin or made of the phenol resin and activated clay, cation starch of 50pts.wt., preferably 80-150pts.wt., per 100pts.wt. of the phenol resin, which acts as an adhesive, a pigment, latex, etc. are dispersed and mixed with one another to provide a coating liquid. The liquid is coated on a carrier to make a developer sheet. Microcapsures, which contain a solution prepared by dissolving a coloring agent such as Malachite Green Lactone or Rhodamine Lactone in an organic solvent, are coated on a carrier to make a coloring agent sheet. Both the sheets are combined with each other to provide noncarbon transfer paper.
