Abstract

PURPOSE: To obtain a coloring display at low costs and with ease by adhesively fixing a polarizing plate to a liquid crystal cell by using an adhesive agent mixed with coloring agents such as pigments or dyes.
CONSTITUTION: An adhesive agent 2 mixed with coloring agents such as pigments of dyes is coated on a polarizing plate 1 provided with protecting layers 12, 13 on both sides of a polarizing layer 11 and said plate is adhesively fixed to a liquid crystal cell. Characters, symbols and patterns are drawn by using two or more kinds of the adhesive agents of different colors and this coupled with the display of the liquid crystal achieve the diversification of colors.
