Abstract
PURPOSE:To improve heat exchanging efficiency, by forming a number of small passages by bonding a flat sheet element and a corrugated sheet element with an adhesive agent applied with proper intervals along the ridges of corrugation formed on the corrugated sheet element. CONSTITUTION:The flat sheet element 1 of paper, cloth or the like and the corrugated sheet element 2 are bonde to each other with adhesive agent 3a applied with proper intervals along the ridges of corrugation of the element 2, so as to provide an intermediate product 5 having at one side thereof corrugation for forming a number of small passages 4 extended through the opposite ends of intermediate product 5. The intermediate product 5 is wound around a core 6 into a cylindircal form with adhesive agent 3b being applied with proper intervals along the ridges of corrugation of the element 2. With such an arrangement, it is enabled to reduce the adhesive applying area where heat is not exchanged effectively and to improve heat exchanging, particularly, by absorbing latent heat, i.e., humidity.
