Abstract

PURPOSE:To uniformly disperse an inorganic insulator and attain a uniform thickness, by coating a liquid, in which powder of an inorganic insulator and polyvinyl alcohol are provided as colloid, on the metal material to be treated with heat and by drying the liquid. CONSTITUTION:The powder of an inorganic insulator such as magnesium oxide, mica or the like which has a grain size of 200mum or less and a use ratio of 0.5- 15%, and polyvinyl alcohol, which has a use ratio of 0.2-10%, are mixed in water or an organic solvent such as methyl alcohol etc. or a mixture of them to prepare a coating liquid in which the powder and the polyvinyl alcohol are colloidal. The liquid is coated on the metal material to be treated with heat. The coated liquid is dried. This results in providing a fuse-bonding prevention film in which the inorganic insulator in uniformly dispersed and which has a uniform thickness.
