PURPOSE:To attain remarkable miniaturization and a broad band by providing a radio absorber extremely closely to a ferromagnetic substance in a miniature junction type waveguide isolator. CONSTITUTION:On the top and bottom internal surfaces of the branch part of waveguide 1, two metallic matching plates 2a and 2b are provided opposing to each other and between those two matching plates, ferromagnetic substance 3 is interposed. Then, radio absorber 4 is provided being extremely close to magnetic substance 3. Consequently, the unit can be miniaturized and provided with a broad band by a large margin.
