Abstract
PURPOSE:To measure brake characteristics with good accuracy by providing a control means which is so arranged as to start measurement when the brake pressure detected with a detecting means attains the prescribed set value. CONSTITUTION:The detecting means is provided with a pressure detector 9, a pressure amplifier 10, a pressure setter 11, an adder-substractor 12, and a voltage comparator 17. The pressure detector 9 is inserted and connected between a cylinder 6 and a brake block, and the pressure corresponding to brake torque is detected as an electric signal. After this signal is amplified 10, it is supplied to the adder- subtractor 12, where the difference between the detected pressure signal and set pressure signal is derived and the differential signal thereof is supplied to a voltage comparator 13, which is so arranged that when said differential signal coincides with, for example, ''0'' voltage level the output signal is generated. This output signal is supplied as a measurement start signal to a brake characteristic measuring means, and is also supplied to a control means.
