Abstract

PURPOSE: To improve the heat exchanging function of a heat exchanger by sealing an inner cylinder in an outer cylinder, forming a hot medium or a cold medium passage in the inner and outer cylinders, forming a supply fluid passage of a conduit wound on the outer periphery of the inner cylinder and in the inside of the inner cylinder and providing a conduit supply port at the hot or cold medium inlet side.
CONSTITUTION: When supply fluid is supplied from an inlet 7 into a conduit 6, it flows through the spiral conduit 6 to a supply port 8. On the other hand, hot or cold medium flows from an inlet 2 through an inner cylinder 1 toward the opening end, then returns and flows in the inner and the outer cylinders 1 and 2 toward an outlet 4. The supply fluid heat exchanges with the hot or cold medium in the meantime. This construction can increase the contacting area and distance of the supply fluid and the hot or cold medium and can make contact with confronting flow, and can accordingly improve the heat exchanging performance.
