The sintered material obrd. is sieved to obtain the purpose red-luminescent fluorescent substance of the formula (0.05≤x≤0.3; 0<y≤0.05). When applied for a fluorescent lamp, the fluorescent substance obtd. shows largely increased brightness and emission efficiency by irradiation of 254nm UV.
