Abstract

PURPOSE:To introduce a video signal in which the ghost is removed, by introducing a ghost removing signal to remove ghost through a transversal filter and synthesizing it with a video signal. CONSTITUTION:The ghost removal signal is produced by passing through the video signal input to the input terminal A1 via the delay circuit A4 and the transversal filter A5. The transversal filter A5 has the delay line with a plurality of taps, and the most suited tap for the removal of ghost is selected among them and the gain of this tap is controlled to give processing to the output of the delay circuit A4. The video signal and the ghost removal signal are synthesized at the synthesizer A3 to obtain output at the output terminal A2.
