Abstract

A digital filter stores products that may be used in the filtering process, thereby increasing speed of operation in real-time The filter receives sampled digital values representative of an electrical signal to be filtered. These values are stored temporarily in a random-access- memory and at least some of them are combined together before being multiplied by coefficients characteristic of the filter. <IMAGE>
