Abstract
PURPOSE:To constitute the bottom membrane construction of an underground membrane tank in such a manner that an average absorption of thermal stress is performed to make a turning without any irregular portion. CONSTITUTION:When an underground membrane 1 is operated, an action of thermal deformation of the membrane caused by temperature changes deriving from operations of cool down, in-out handling of the liquid, warming up, etc. is ineviatbly followed. However, in a bottom membrane 8 of the tank 1, an expansion and contraction in the intersection of each corrugation and a turning of the flat plate part are uniformly performed because a uniform module forming is applied to corrugations 101, 102,...10n, radial corrugations 11, 11', 11'' and an arrangement of flat plate parts 14-16, and even in a center part 9 an irregular portion is not generated for a reason that in the surroundings of a pentagonal flat plate part in the center the other two kinds of triangular and tetragonal flat plate part are arranged. Accordingly, a generation of deflected thermal stress, deflection in the center and its resulting irregular turning is not caused also without a concentration of stress to the above described intersection.
