Abstract

PURPOSE:To shorten a work period, facilitate maintenance and conserve energy by a method wherein a three-phase transformer is formed by a main transformer, a series transformer connected in series with the high-tension winding, an adjusting transformer connected in parallel with the winding and a tap changer. CONSTITUTION:Connecting leads 4 among high-tension winding 1 in a U phase of an existing transformer are separated, series winding 5 is connected in series among the leads and exciting winding 6 is connected in parallel with the high-tension winding 1. On the other hand, tap winding 7 wound on the same core at the exciting winding 6 and exciting winding 8 wound on the same core as the series winding 5 are connected through tape changers 9 in case of load which change over taps. Each winding in a V phase and a W phase is connected in the same manner as the U phase, and each phase is delta-connected. Thus, a work period can be shortened, maintenance can be facilitated and energy can be conserved in a transformer which can be operated combining a main transformer and a voltage regulator in case of being loaded.
