Abstract
PURPOSE:To open and close a switch according to the load capacity to reduce the no-load loss in the whole, by connecting each of the parimary winding and the secondary winding of two transformers in series with the switch set in parallel with the primary winding of an auxiliary transformer on one side. CONSTITUTION:The main transformer T1 and the auxiliary transformer T2 are set at the same ratio of transmformation with the ratio of capacity at 2:1 or more. Each of the primary windings 1, 3 and the secondary windings 2, 4 of this transformers T1, T2 are respectively connected in series, and the switch S1 is connected in parallel with the primary winding 3 of the transformer T2 with loads on the both ends of the secondary windings 2, 4 in series connection. When the load is large, the switch S is closed with the transformer T1 connected directly to the power source, while, when the load is reduced at night, etc., the switch S1 is closed. Thus, the transformer T2 is in charge of a part of voltage to reduce the no-load loss of the transformer T1 for the reduction of the no-load loss as a whole.
