Abstract
PURPOSE:To enable to exactly detect a leak of a fluid by means of remote control, by connecting an inlet of the three-way valve, one outlet, and the other outlet to the fluid source, the consumption terminal equipment through the main pipe, and the main pipe through the bypass, respectively, and providing a prescribed electromagnetic leak detector on the bypass pipe. CONSTITUTION:An inlet 1a of the three-way valve 1, and an outlet 1b are connected to the fluid source of gas, etc., and the terminal equipment A such as a fluid consumption apparatus, etc. through the main pipe 2, respectively, and the bypass pipe 3 is connected to the main pipe 2 through the leak detector 4. In the leak detector 4, stoppers 28, 29 are provided on the corner part of the bypass pipe 3, and when a magnetic detector 27 reaches the position of the stopper 29 by flow of a leaking fluid, inductance of the coil 30 is varied, and the alarm circuit 18 sounds a buzzer 19 by a current flowing in the conductor. At the same time a signal is sent to the control circuit 16, limit switches 10a, 10b are operated through the motor 7, and the three-way valve 1 is closed. In this way, whether there is a leak or not can be detected exactly by means of remote control.
