Abstract
PURPOSE: To accurately prevent gas leakage by causing a gas leakage alarm and a quake detecting gas interrupting valve to be mutually associated with each other and effectively utilizing the gas flowpath interrupting function of the quake detecting gas interrupting valve to make it possible to operate at the time of gas leakage.
CONSTITUTION: When a buzzer 2 of a gas leakage alarm 1 rings by the gas leakage, the magnetic field around the buzzer caused thereby is detected by a senser 11, and the output of the senser 11 is supplied to a time-limiting circuit 15 through an amplifier 14 in a relay device 13. The time-limiting circuit 15 sends a drive signal to a drive circuit 16 for a predetermined time when the time-limiting circuit 15 is supplied with an input signal. By this procedure, the drive circuit 16 cause a current from a source transformer 17 to flow to an electromagnet 12 to suck up a steel ball 6 of the quake resisting gas interrupting valve 3, and the steel ball 6 is caused to drop on an operating valve 7 from a ball receiver 5. As a result, the valve 10 is seated on a valve seat to interrupt the gas flowpath. This interrupting valve 3 is similarly closed by the similar drop of the steel ball at the time of earthquake.
