Abstract

PURPOSE: To supply the peripheral part of a turbine with peripheral steam corresponding to the temperature of the peripheral part, in order to prevent the fluid in the turbine from leaking, by providing a vortex tube in piping section which connects a steam header and the peripheral part of the turbine to each other.
CONSTITUTION: A vortex tube 19 and a peripheral steam regulator 15 are provided in a piping section which connects a steam header 13 and the peripheral part 24 of a turbine 7 to each other. The quantity of steam flowing out of a high-temperature and a low-temperature steam outlet ports 21, 20 is changed by appropriately opening or closing a flow control valve 23. After high-temperature steam having flown out of the high-temperature steam outlet port 21 is adjusted to appropriate pressure by a peripheral steam regulator 15, the steam is supplied from a peripheral steam header 16 to the peripheral part 24 of the turbine 7 to prevent the fluid in the turbine from leaking.
