Abstract

PURPOSE:To reduce a rate whereat heat is absorbed from a parison and protect against radiation of heat from the parison when a mold makes contact with the parison, whereby the roughness of the surface of a molded product is improved, by a method wherein a mold cavity corresponding to a curve portion is constituted with a mold material having a given thermal conductivity. CONSTITUTION:At a convexity, of a mold 6' corresponding to an inner angle of a curve portion, where a parison contacts light, a cavity is formed with a material fitting inside the cavity, said material having below 1.0kcalm<-1>h<-1>deg<-1> thermal conductivity, for example, a teflon resin block 12 having 0.2kcalm<-1>h<-1>deg<-1> thermal conductivity. A cooling circuit for controlling temperature is located in the teflon resin block 12. This permits the protection against the radiation resulting from contact of the cavity in a mold, corresponding to an inner angle of a curve portion, with a parison 3. And thereby a curing rate of the parison is reduced and the roughness of the surface of a molded product can be improved.
