Abstract
PURPOSE: To enable the generation of electricity by a simple equipment in a clean water reservoir or the like by providing an intake nozzle, rotating body etc. in a floating chamber.
CONSTITUTION: The floating chamber 2 is floated on a water surface 1 of the clean water reservoir or the like, and a double bottom 3 is formed at the bottom of the floating chamber 2 and a space chambers 4 are formed upper and lower side of the double bottom 3. In the lower space chamber 4, water wheels 6 are fitted to a vertical shaft 5 pivotally supported on the double bottom 3 and the intake nozzle 7 directed in a direction parallel to the tangential direction of a turning circumference of the water wheels 6 is provided to form a turbine type rotating body 8. The vertical shaft 5 is connected to an input shaft of a generator 9 installed in the upper space chamber 4 and the bottom of the lower space chamber 4 is connected with a flexible drain pipe 10 for the used water. In such a manner as described above, the power generation is made possible by the simple device from the water surface of the clean water reservoir.
