Abstract
PURPOSE:To enable sure reset operation even if the power supply voltage rises slowly and the power supply is quickly interrupted in a short period, by the switching of conduction or nonconduction through on/off of the power supply voltage. CONSTITUTION:The circuit is provided with drive TR4 driving a switching transistor TR8, Zener diode 1 setting the operating point of TR4, and bias resistors 2, 3, 5 for TR4. A capacitor 9 charging/discharging is provided between TR8 and the reset use input terminal 10. The capacitor 9 is charged through resistors 6 and 7 when the power switch 12 is on, and the charged voltage is fed to the terminal 10. When the switch 12 is off, the capacitor 9 is discharged through the resistor 7 and TR8. The value of the resistor 6 is set to a greater value so that the leading of the voltage at the terminal 10 is slower than the power supply voltage B, and the value of the resistor 7 is set to a small value so that the trailing of the voltage B is faster than the trailing of the voltage at the terminal 10, allowing to ensure the reset operation.
