Abstract
PURPOSE: To obtain a calcium nutritious food without a bad smell and storable for a long term at a low cost, by crushing a bone of a fish, brid or animal, boiling the bone under pressure, and adding a seasoning, etc. to the solid extract separated from a fat or oil, and finely granulating and drying the resultant mixture.
CONSTITUTION: A bone of a fish, bird or animal as a main raw material is mixed with if necessary the entrails, sinew, skin or meat, crushed and boiled under pressure to separate and remove a fat or oil. A seasoning, etc. may be added to the separated solid extract, and the mixture is finely granulated and dried to give a calcium nutritious food. The crushed bone of an animal may be boiled under pressure and, without separation and removal of the fat or oil, mixed with the seasoning, etc. The resultant powder food material obtained by drying may be frozen to afford a frozen food material.
