Abstract
PURPOSE:To detect a peak voltage accurately by cutting off a reset signal according to the results obtained through comparison of an input signal of irregular waveform with an output waveform sampled. CONSTITUTION:If a reset signal R is applied, a switch s1 is closed and an input voltage Vi is accumulated into a condenser C1. At the same time, a voltage when the signal R has disappeared is held and the output Vm of an amplifier A2 changes in compliance with the accumulated voltage of C1. If the voltage Vi is higher than Vm, the voltage of C1 also soars and the s2 is closed at a sampling signal S and the Vm is held by C2. If the signal S disappeared, the voltage of C2 becomes an output voltage Vo on an arithmetic amplifier 3. After this process, the voltages Vo and Vi are compared. If the Vi is higher than Vo, a comparison output is applied to FF-F and its output causes a gate G to shut off the signal R. Simultaneously the Vm reaches a peak value and is held by C2.
