PURPOSE:To obtain a high-performance voltage comparator circuit by providing the capacitor to the input side of the gate amplifier used for the digital logic and then correcting the threshold level proper to the gate amplifier via the capacitor. CONSTITUTION:FET switch 41 is turned on while the pulse voltage is being applied to control terminal 601, and the voltage of one terminal 350 of capacitor 35 becomes zero. At the same time, FET switch 17 is turned on with FET switch 16 turned off, and capacitor 35 features the reference earth potential. On the other hand, FET switch 42 is turned on, and the current flows to capacitor 35 from constant current circuit 70 to begine charging. When the charging proceeds and the voltage of terminal 350 reaches thrshold voltage Vth of gate amplifier 300, switches 42 and 17 are turned off with switch 16 turned on. And capacitor 35 is connected to input terminal 10. Accordingly, the output of amplifier 300 features the accurate variation based on the scale of the reference level of the signal voltage applied to input terminal 10, and the rectangular wave is obtained at output terminal 200 in the form of the voltage comparator output based on the reference level of OV.
