CONSTITUTION:A mixture of active positive-electrode materials such as silver monoxide, silver dioxide, manganous oxide, mercurous oxide, nickel peroxide, and the like, and conductive agents such as carbon black introduced as nesessary is set and compressed in a metal-mold frame 6 and a cylindrical frame 7 together with a circular pedestal 5 with an L-shaped cross section, thereby a formed-positive electrode 9 with pedestal whose thickness is 0.6mm and less is made.
