Abstract

PURPOSE:To make a lamp available both for the lighting equipment internally provided with a starter lamp and the lighting equipment internally provided with a starter lamp by providing two pairs of terminal pins for the base cap of an annular fluorescent lamp and detachably providing a starting lamp within the base cap. CONSTITUTION:A through hole 4 is formed on the terminal base plate 3 of a cap 2. Two pairs of terminal pins 5a, 5b, 6a and 6b for power source and preheating are provided around the through hole 4. Preheating terminals 7a and 7b, electrically connected with the terminals 6a and 6b are provided on the inner face of the terminal base plate. A starting lamp (B) having a projection 10 projecting outside through the through hole 4 is attached in the terminal base plate and connected with the preheating terminals 7a and 7b. A socket (C) having a hole for receiving the projection 10 and receiving metals for connecting with the power source terminals is attached to the outer face of the terminal base plate.
