Abstract
PURPOSE: To reduce weight of a water warmer and to prevent freezing by utilizing a construction wherein water is sent to an upper water chamber installed above the water warmer, while, to enable to utilize the water as drinking water by utilizing an indirect heating.
CONSTITUTION: Water in a water tank 6 is sent into an upper chamber 2 of a water warmer 1 by a pump 7, then, it receives solar heat in the water warmer 1 and is collected in a lower chamber 3, thereafter, is flown down through a return tube 5 and is returned into the water tank 6. On the other hand, city water is warmed by a heat-exchanging between warmed water in the water tank 6 upon passing through a heat-exchanger 9, and is taken out of a faucet 10. When the pump 7 is stopped, all of the water in the water warmer 1 is flown down into the water tank 6, therefore, no water will be stagnated in a circulating system. The water in a feeding pipe 4 may be discharged through a branched pipe 15 by opening a cock 14, therefore, the feeding pipe 4 may also be kept in empty of water. Accordingly, freezing in an outdoor exposed portion at night in winter or the like will never be caused at all.
