Abstract
PURPOSE:To effect stable atomization of ink without lowering a frequency characteristic thereof and improve recording speed by providing an elastiv body in an ink feeding groove. CONSTITUTION:An elastic body 11 absorbing an oscillation of ink is provided in an ink feeding port 4' constituting an internal chamber of an ink-jet recording device wherein an ejection of atomized ink from a nozzle 5 and a sucking of the ink into the internal chamber of a head are effected by an electromechanical transducing means operated by a drive signal. The elastic body is formed from a rubber plate, a rubber tube, sponge or the like. EFFECT:Even when stand-up of a drive pulse is made steep, and an oscillation, caused upon an electromechanical transducing means is returning to a stationary condition, is imposed to ink in an internal chamber, an ink pressure is damped in a short time and invasion of air bubbles into the internal chamber may still be prevented because the oscillation is absorbed by an elastic body.
