Next, core guides 11... are fitted to the outside circumference of the spacers 10, optical fiber cores 2 are held by the guides 11..., the circumferential parts of the spacers 10 forming containing grooves 12... are selected according to the surplus length of the cores 2 connected by the connecting parts 3 and the surplus length parts of the cores 2 are wound spirally along the circumferential parts thereof, then the surplus length parts are held at plural points without congestion, and the surplus length parts are free from sharp bends and are orderly contained with good vibration resistance.
