Abstract

PURPOSE: To improve characteristics and a yield without causing unevenness in sensitivity and leakage of light by forming an interference filter of a multi-layer interference film absorbing light of wavelength in fixed range on the surface of a glass window.
CONSTITUTION: Charge coupled device 11 with electrodes formed on a semiconductor substrate via an insulation film is installed in package 12 and glass window 14 is bonded on an upper face of circumferential part 13 projected from package 12. On surface 15 of glass window 14, interference filter 16 is formed of a multi- layer interference film absorbing light of 950∼1200nm in wavelength. As a result, characteristics and the yield can be improved without causing unevenness in sensitivity and light leakage.
