Abstract

PURPOSE: To improve the accuracy of zero compensation by incorporating an A/D converter and a D/A converter.
CONSTITUTION: An up-down counter 6 as an A/D converter and a D/A converter 7 are connected and added to a comparator 5. Then, if in an X-component compensating circuit Ax the unbalance signal Sx from the multiplier 3 connected to a pickup 1 via subtractor 2 is larger than zero, the up-down counter 6 receives the signal corresponding to the signal Sx of the comparator 5 and acts as an up-counter. When the count number of the up counter 6 increases, the output of the D/A converter 7 generates large sine waves and the sinω0t of the increased amplitude thereof is phase-inverted by the subtractor 2 and is supplied to the signal from the pickup 1. Hence, the unbalance signals Sx, Sy of X,Y components from the respective multipliers 3,4 are subjected to A/D conversion and D/A conversion then phase inversion and subtraction and therefore the intended object is achieved.
