Abstract

PURPOSE: To accurately measure the phase of an input signal by generating a signal having a predetermined phase relation with an input signal having much noise, and determining the phase difference between the specially generated signal and a reference signal.
CONSTITUTION: An input signal Si is supplied to a synchronous rectifier 2 to be subjected to synchronous rectification by an output based on a phase-shifted 1 reference signal Sr. A rectified output is amplified 3 and then fed back to the phase shifter 1 to control the same such that an output voltage from the rectifier 2 becomes zero. As a result, a signal SO having a predetermined difference from a phase angle of a signal component of the signal Si is outputted from the phase shifter 1. This output signal SO is supplied to a phase difference measuring circuit 4, where the phase difference between the signal SO and the signal Sr. Therefore, the phase difference between the signals Si, Sr can be determined accurately.
