Abstract

PURPOSE: To reuse living waste water as intermediate water for cleaning water or the like of flush toilets by treating the living waste water through combination of respective processes of oxidating agent addition, reducing agent addition and coagulating thereby effectively decoloring and deodorizing the same.
CONSTITUTION: Raw waste water 1 is led to the oxidating agent adding treating process A, where acids 2 are added to maintain pH at around 3, followed by addition of oxidating agents such as heavy metal catalysts 3 such as ferrous salts or other and oxidating agents 4 such as carbonated hydrogen and others, whereby it is oxidized, decolored and deodorized. Next, it is led to the reducing agent addition treating process B, where alkalis 5 are added to maintain pH at around 8 and reducing agents 6 such as hydrosulfite and others are added, whereby it is further decolored and deodoriZed. Next, it is led to the coagulating process C, where coagulants 7 are added to coagulate and flock the same. In a precipitating cell D, the coagulated flocks are sedimented and separated. The treated water being supernatant is circulated and reused as intermediate water sapply. This treatment may be accomplished in the order of oxidating agent addition A, coagulating C and reducing agent addition B.
