Abstract

PURPOSE:To continuously operate a reaction bath by preventing gas injection holes from clogging, forced liquid flow by agitator blades is used to remove reaction product from the neighborhood of the injection holes. CONSTITUTION:When gas 7 passes through the hollow shaft 3 and reaches to the sparger box 4, the sparger box 4, gas injection holes 5 and agitator blades 6 rotate clockwise. This allows the agitator blades 6 to produce liquid flow on the surface of the gas injection holes 5. The gas reaching to the sparger box 4 is injected from the injection holes 5 permitting solution 8 and gas to contact each other, and forced to rise in centrifugal direction along the agitator blades 6. Thus, reaction product is effectively prevented from being supersaturated on the surface of the gas injection holes 5.
